WATER ACCESS - the closest access to the water for recreation is available at the Arrowhead Estates public boat ramp (1.3 mile drive), or, Arrowhead State Park Lakeview Circle Campground Beach (less than 5 mile drive). FISHING - please bring your own fishing gear. Fishing is good for crappie, catfish and bass. Bait is available just a short drive down the road in the town of Crowder or in Longtown. If you do not have a boat, you can fish from the shore area at the Arrowhead Estates boat ramp (1.3 mile drive) and the shore in Arrowhead State Park, or you can fish from the docks at Area 51 Marina in Arrowhead State Park for $5/person/day. Area 51 Marina is in Arrowhead State Park (4 mile drive). SWIMMING – the beach at Arrowhead State Park Lakeview Circle Campground, located just outside of the neighborhood (less than a 5 mile drive), is the best place for wading, swimming, floating and playing in the water. KIDS PLAYGROUND, PICNIC TABLES & BEACH - Arrowhead State Park Lakeview Circle Campground (less than 5 mile drive) has a swimming area, sand volleyball court, picnic tables and playground for the kiddos. KAYAKING/CANOEING - if you have kayaks or canoes feel free to bring them. The rocky shoreline around the lake makes for incredible kayaking, especially early in the morning and late afternoon when the wind is low and the lake is smooth as glass. Utilize the Arrowhead Estates boat ramp area (1.3 mile drive) or Arrowhead State Park Lakeview Circle Campground (less than 5 mile drive) to launch. BOATING - the local Arrowhead Estates neighborhood boat ramp is only 1.3 miles from The Shack. Area 51 Marina (4 mile drive) provides daily boat slip rentals for $17/day. This is the most convenient option if you do not want to pull your boat out of the water each day. You can also purchase fuel at the marina. GOLFING - the Arrowhead State Park Golf Course (less than 3 mile drive) is just down the road and offers great golfing and views. HIKING - located nearby, Arrowhead State Park has several hiking trails. We also highly recommend making the 40-45 minute drive to Robber's Cave State Park. The hiking trails are great and the area and terrain are beautiful! We personally love to go hiking there! LOCAL WILDLIFE - wildlife that can be seen in the area include deer, birds of many types, including bald eagles, raccoons, red fox, and otters.

Our lake house is located on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. It is a three bedroom one bath home that was completely remodeled from floor to ceiling just two years ago. The lower basement makes the house sit higher off the ground which makes the home feel as though you are in a tree house. There are 35 mature trees on the lot where the house is located. The second floor entrance to the home is accessible via a gently sloped ramp on the side of the house. The front and side of this home has a large elevated deck that is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The neighborhood is located in Indian Springs, and has a public boat ramp (.5 miles from house) with parking, as well as beach access and trails. Once inside the house you immediately notice the gigantic floor to ceiling windows that bring the beauty of nature inside for your enjoyment. This home is on the smaller side but can easily accommodate 6 guests comfortably. One of our favorite bedrooms is located in the upper loft of the home overlooking the living area. The entire home is full of character and many of the original elements were preserved when the home was remodeled. The home is equipped with Direct TV and high speed WIFI internet. A Blue Ray DVD player is also connected to the TV. There are two queen beds and one full bed. Lake Eufaula State Park is located 4.5 miles/7 min from the house. Dollar General is located one mile away. Several local restaurants are within a mile or two for your convenience. Both the town of Eufaula and Checotah, OK are within 10 minutes. Home is easy to locate and only a couple miles off the interstate. Public recreation is located in the immediate vicinity. From ATV trails, horseback riding, bike trails, walking trails, public swimming areas, and public lake access for boating and fishermen, marinas with boat rental, to water obstacle courses. This home has a large circle drive which can accommodate both boats and RVs. As of 10/16/2018 the house has been connected to the city water system. Prior to this the home used well water. The well water system had iron water that had a mineral odor, so we made the decision to connect to city water to improve the guest experience. We know you will enjoy our lake house as much as we do and look forward to having you stay!

It's beautiful inside and outside! The large deck is a great hangout to enjoy the great views of the lake. On cool mornings and nights the gas fire pit makes things cozy. There is a small sitting area below the deck overlooking the lake and shoreline that has a wood burning fire pit. You will need to bring your own firewood or carry up wood from the lower area. A third sitting area is located closer to the water with several chairs. NO LARGE GROUP PARTIES, FAMILY AND FRIEND REUNIONS, RVs, etc. Our lake home is meant for families and will comfortably accommodate one to two families. Twelve (12) guests is the maximum number allowed at the house. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It will sleep up to 12 utilizing all sleeping areas. If more parking space is needed, we have an overflow lot about a block away where vehicles can be parked. Parking is not allowed on the street or on, or in front of, neighbor's properties. STORM SHELTER - 1 mile from the house we have a storm shelter available for guests at our homes. Enter 9 Indianola Ct. Canadian, OK in your mapping app. SHORELINE - the shoreline is rocky, like most eastern Oklahoma lakes, making for beautiful views and relaxation. There is a great sitting area with several chairs near the water available for use. Feel free to take the chairs to the waters edge but be sure to place in their original location after use. FISHING - fishing is usually good along the rocky shore for crappie, catfish and bass. Bring your own fishing gear. Bait is available just a few miles down the road in Crowder or Longtown. SWIMMING – we and our guests typically swim, float and play in the water directly behind the house. You will definitely want to wear water shoes because of the rocky terrain. The terrain behind the house is rocky and sloped to the shoreline. Please refer to the pics to see the shoreline area. If you prefer a beach then Arrowhead State Park is located just outside of the neighborhood and only a few minutes drive. If you bring a boat, there is also an island across the lake directly behind the house with a black shale beach that is great to beach your boat to swim and play. The areas north and west of the island are also a good area for wake boarding, tubing, etc. KIDS PLAYGROUND, PICNIC TABLES & BEACH - only 11 minutes from the house is the Arrowhead State Park Lakeview Circle Campground with a swimming area, sand volleyball court, picnic tables and playground for the kiddos. KAYAKING/CANOEING - if you have kayaks or canoes feel free to bring them. The kayaking behind the house is incredible, especially early in the morning and late afternoon when the wind is low and the lake is smooth as glass. BOATING - the local Arrowhead Estates neighborhood boat ramp is only 1.3 miles from the house or you can use the Arrowhead State Park boat ramp located 10 minutes from the house. Area 51 Marina is 10 minutes from the house and they provide daily boat slip rentals for $17/day. This is the most convenient option if you do not want to pull your boat out of the water each day. You can also purchase fuel at the marina. GOLFING - the Arrowhead State Park Golf Course is just 6 minutes down the road. Great golfing and views.

Located down Texanna in Sandy Bass Bay 3 (Jane's Jungle), this house is a close walk or ride on the golf cart to Lake Eufaula beaches. We are within a mile of two launch ramps, and not far from Belle Starr Marina or Porum Marina and launch ramps.. The other side of hwy 69 is Lake Eufaula State Park with many types of recreation including horse back riding and golf. There is a large grassy tree lined front yard with plenty of parking for guests and toys. The Shady Rest downstairs has dining area, kitchenette, full bathroom and living room with sliding glass door to the patio. Day beds make into three twin beds. Upstairs has area with a twin bunk bed and closet on one side and a queen bed on the other. The sliding door opens onto a pet friendly patio. Just through the next gate and up the steps is the hot tub and deck with conversation seating. There is boat parking with electricity for those here for fishing tournaments. We are within 15 minutes to 2 very nice golf courses and within 5 minutes of 3 nice marinas. There is golf cart rentals and boat rentals very close. Longtown boasts some of the best fishing on the lake. There are several sandy beaches you can escape to and hang out for the day.

This is lake view property, no boat access or swimming , we are 1 mile by car to Eufaula cove marina where you can rent boats, jet skis, and there are swimming beaches. There is water access at end of block for fishing. The house is very roomy and open, kitchen is fully-stocked. Our house has a large deck on lower level with a BBQ grill and griddle and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the outdoors and view of the lake. The upstairs deck has great views of lake and area also. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy a relaxing evening. The downstairs of the house has 2 living areas plus a pool table and shuffleboard, dartboard, cornhole, and lots of other games. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. 1 mile from Eufaula Cove Marina and the town of Eufaula, restaurants, groceries, etc. This is our families vacation home and we have a great time when we are there, so we decided to share and let others make great memories!
